Turnitin is an optional resource toolset that faculty and instructors can use within ANGEL to assist students in the continued development of their writing skills in the online environment. As well, it raises awareness of the rules of attribution by assisting faculty and students in detecting plagiarized material.

Although TurnItIn is most often used in humanities, it can be usefully applied in engineering, especially noting the ABET requirements for writing.

To register, open your browser (preferably FireFox)
  • go to http://ebs.msu.edu and login with your MSU netid and pswd
